New England Patriots
Another team that was bitten by the Antonio Brown bug this year was the Patriots. New England thought they were getting a huge bargain when they didn’t have to give up any assets to add Brown to their roster.
But Brown only lasted a game for the Patriots and now they may be interested in adding another top receiver to their current group.
New England already has Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman at the top of their wide receiver depth chart, so trading for Stefon Diggs is something that the Patriots would probably try and do during the upcoming offseason.
Especially with New England not having a ton of cap space right now and the fact that Gordon will become an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
Figuring out a trade that the Vikings would agree with might be the most difficult thing for the Patriots to figure out though. New England currently has one selection in each of the first three rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft and at least two of those picks would likely have to be included in a package to acquire Diggs.
