The Minnesota Vikings star receiver answered questions on Thursday about some of the recent rumors that have come up about him being unhappy with the team.

For the past two weeks, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been the subject of a number of different rumors. Some have been related to him being frustrated with the Vikings and even asking for a trade.

After not being at the team’s facilities on Monday and Wednesday, Diggs returned on Thursday and took some time to answer questions about everything that has been going on recently.

As far as not being with the team for the last few days, the Minnesota receiver said he’s been dealing with a cold. Regarding the rumors of him being frustrated with the Vikings and asking to be traded, Diggs had the following to say.

"“I feel like there’s truth to all rumors, no matter how you dress it up. I won’t be saying nothing on it. I won’t be speaking on it at all. But there is truth to all rumors I guess.”"

The talented Minnesota receiver said that he’s met with teammates, coaches, and people in the front office recently, but he’s not sure if his frustrations are being taken seriously.

"“I don’t know at this point. With the trend that we’re at right now, I’m not 100 percent sure. Everybody’s known me to be three things and that’s one, a team guy, I’ve always put the team before myself. I’ve never made it just about me, I’ve never been that kind of guy. Wanting to have success and wanting to have team success is always what I’ve been pushing. So my language will stay the same, whether I’m given many opportunities or not a lot. I know as a man, who I am and what I bring to the table and that’s what I’m going to ride with.”"

Diggs then responded again to the recent rumors of him asking to be traded.

"“I haven’t communicated anything. The conversations I’ve had have only been about (the) team and trying to have success on the field.”"

He was then asked if he wanted to remain with the Vikings.

"“I love it here. I’ve been here for five years. I love everything about the community, I love everything about my teammates, and I love everything about my team.”"

Lastly, Diggs addressed all the recent rumors surrounding him, once again.

"“There was a lot of speculation of me being frustrated. Of course, being a receiver and wanting to have success and wanting to win, if you want to win and you’re not winning, of course you’ll be frustrated.”"

It’s very clear that he’s not happy with how things have gone so far this season. But Diggs is also not alone with his frustrations, especially those who play on the offensive side of the ball for Minnesota.

Fellow Vikings receiver Adam Thielen also commented on his frustrations with the offense following the team’s loss to the Bears in Week 4.

A lot of what Diggs said on Thursday was similar to what Thielen said on Sunday. These two talented receivers are just very competitive and they want to see Minnesota succeed this year just like every player in their locker room.

As far as Diggs actually being dealt to another team this season, multiple reports have indicated that the Vikings currently have no interest in trading the receiver.
