During Week 5 of the 2019 season, which players on the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants should you be starting on your fantasy football team?

Minnesota Vikings fans and fantasy football owners of Vikings players all want to forget what was a very dreadful Week 5 against the Chicago Bears. We all know what a tough matchup this divisional rivalry game would be, but no one thought it would end up going south so quickly.

The Vikings defense did a solid job holding the Bears offense and backup quarterback Chase Daniel to minimal points Sunday, but the offense couldn’t get much going at all. The Bears defense swarmed the running game and Kirk Cousins.

Minnesota’s quarterback had a difficult time finding his receivers which begs the question, should we be worried about the Vikings offensive weapons for fantasy football. The answer is simple; no. Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, and Dalvin Cook are still elite talents and still need to be regarded as such.

There are going to be games that they put up duds in the future just like they have in the first four weeks of the year. But these guys have the talent to swing momentum in any game. Football is a week to week game. Now we look ahead to the New York Giants as the Vikings try to turn things around in East Rutherford.
