Diggs and Thielen will likely be more involved

Four games into the season and the Vikings’ passing offense is certainly not performing anywhere near the level that it is capable of. After their loss to the Bears last week, Minnesota receivers Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs both made their frustrations with the offense be known.

Given how Diggs and Thielen felt the need to basically let the public know how they both would like the ball more, expect them to see a few more passes come their way on Sunday against the Giants.

This isn’t saying that the Vikings should switch to more of a pass-first offensive scheme. But Minnesota’s top two receivers have been grossly underused this year and this needs to change if the team is going to be successful.

Only four teams have given up more receiving yards to opposing pass catchers than New York this season, so this week is a great opportunity for the Vikings to get Diggs and Thielen back into becoming an integral part of the offense.
