Offensive MVP –  Dalvin Cook, running back

It’s crazy to think about the season Dalvin Cook is having. He’s among the league leaders in rushing yards and can get involved in the passing game to draw in the opposing defense using screens and swing passes.

On the ground, Cook showed off his amazing talents again. He made some of the Giants defenders look silly by forcing missed tackles and even breaking off a 41-yard scamper. He carried the ball 21 times for 132 yards.

He added to that damage in the passing game. All six passes thrown his way were caught, resulting in 86 yards. Although he didn’t end up in the end zone, he did a lot of damage that put the Vikings in scoring position.

Having 218 total yards of offense come through Cook’s hands is something the Vikings hopefully won’t have to do all the time, but when he makes it look so easy, it’s hard not to let him run wild on opposing defenses.
