Minnesota Vikings MVPs: Week 5 vs. New York Giants
By Adam Carlson

Defensive MVP – Danielle Hunter, defensive end
It seems like Danielle Hunter gets better with every single game. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that he’s only 24 years old considering how far he’s come since being a third-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Hunter is an absolute freak of nature, combining amazing speed with great power. He took those raw attributes to develop into one of the most dynamic pass rushers in the league, and Daniel Jones felt the power of the Pro Bowl defensive end on a couple of occasions.
His pressures led to two sacks on the Giants quarterback, but he was making a living in New York’s backfield. Not only that, but he tied with Kendrick for the most tackles on the Vikings team, earning seven takedowns (six solo).
The Vikings pass rush is absolutely terrifying thanks to the duo of Griffen and Hunter. No matter what opposing teams do to try to slow them down, one of them will find a way to get pressure. The Giants learned this the hard way on Sunday.
