Two seasons after their matchup in the NFC Championship, the Minnesota Vikings will take on the Philadelphia Eagles inside U.S. Bank Stadium.

Each season for the Minnesota Vikings is full of tests to show how talented of a team they have. Sunday’s showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles is the Vikings’ latest opportunity to prove they have what it takes to be successful this year.

Both teams are sitting with 3-2 records and the results of this week’s matchup could end up playing a part in the NFC playoff picture later on in the season.

Sunday’s game will be the fourth time Minnesota has faced the Eagles since 2016. The Vikings have only come out with a victory in one of these three matchups, but none of them have taken place inside U.S. Bank Stadium.

This week’s contest will be played in Minnesota’s home stadium, a place where they have defeated their opponents by an average of 18 points this season.

Philadelphia will be a tough opponent, but there a number of reasons to believe that the Vikings will come out of Sunday’s matchup with their fourth win of the year.
