Eagles missing key players due to injuries

Injuries play a big part in the success of each team every season and Philadelphia’s roster is currently full of ailing players.

For Sunday’s game against the Vikings, the Eagles have already declared six of their players out including wide receiver DeSean Jackson, defensive tackle Tim Jernigan, cornerback Ronald Darby, and running back Corey Clement.

A number of guys on Philadelphia’s roster are also currently dealing with injuries including left tackle Jason Peters, cornerback Sidney Jones, and safety Rodney McLeod. They’ve only played five games this season, but the Eagles’ roster has already been hit hard by the injury bug.

With Philadelphia missing a number of their top players this week, Minnesota will get to go up against a number of players who don’t have a ton of on-field experience. This inexperience usually leads to more big-play opportunities for the opponent and the Vikings should be able to make a few trips to the end zone on Sunday because of this.
