The worst thing

At one time in this game, the Minnesota Vikings had a 24-3 lead over Philadelphia. At that point, the purple and gold started getting a little conservative and allowed the Eagles to rattle off 17 straight points to get back into the game.

There will be a time when an opposing team will be able to take that momentum and complete a comeback against the Vikings, and that will be an extremely disappointing game. Thankfully, that isn’t what happened this week.

Minnesota was able to score the last 14 points of the game and put the Eagles away, which is what should happen at home in front of a loud and rowdy crowd at U.S. Bank Stadium. However, the Eagles underdogs aren’t a team you want to give too many opportunities.

Fans still got a bit of a scare when it started to feel like the game was slipping away. That feeling was only amplified by the fact that it is the Eagles who the Vikings were playing in this game, and Philly has not made themselves a lot of friends in Minnesota over the years.
