The Minnesota Vikings beat up on the Philadelphia Eagles 38-20 in Week 6. Who were the Vikings’ top rookies from their impressive win?

In Week 6, the Minnesota Vikings were able to win a big game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Vikings played well in all facets and got off to a fast start, eventually finding themselves up 24-3 in the second quarter.

The Eagles did claw their way back into the game and pulled within three points. But Minnesota’s offense then woke back up and soon put the contest away for good.

The Vikings had quite a few rookies play in this game and many were key to the victory. Most of Minnesota’s rookies who made an impact were on the offensive side of the ball, but there was also one on defense. Fifth-round linebacker, Cameron Smith, made his regular season debut and even registered a tackle against Philadelphia.

Offensively is where the Vikings’ rookies stuck out in Week 6. Kirk Cousins was on fire and found a few of Minnesota’s young targets with some of his passes.

Rookie tight end Irv Smith Jr. had a couple of receptions during the matchup. One was on a shovel pass that didn’t go anywhere and the other was a nifty little catch and run that went for a nice gain that moved the chains. Smith finished the day with 29 receiving yards.
