Which players could the Minnesota Vikings potentially add to their roster before the trade deadline to help them improve their chances for success this season?

Compared to the rest of the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings have one of the more balanced rosters in the league. There are only a few position groups on the Vikings’ roster that are lacking top-notch talent and depth.

Even with the balance on their roster this year, it still doesn’t mean that Minnesota shouldn’t be looking to add another player or two that could help them reach their goals.

October 29 is the deadline for NFL teams to make trades this season and it’s possible that the Vikings could be interested in making a few deals before then. Minnesota appears to be on the cusp of contending for a championship this year and there may be a player on the trade block who could help push them over the edge.

Looking ahead to 2020, the Vikings could also look to make a deal before the deadline that impacts their roster beyond just this season. Minnesota’s salary cap situation is not expected to be good next year and the team could look to acquire some cheap assets before the end of the month to keep around past the end of the current season.

So with the deadline quickly approaching, who are a few players from around the NFL that the Vikings could look to acquire in a trade this year?
