Larry Fitzgerald – WR

Every year around the trade deadline, there is always a small hope among a few Vikings fans that the team will finally figure out a way to bring Larry Fitzgerald back home to the Twin Cities.

Fitzgerald is currently in the middle of his 16th NFL season and he’s still putting up good numbers. In six games this year, the veteran receiver has 35 catches for 427 yards and two touchdowns.

Unfortunately, Fitzgerald is stuck on another terrible Cardinals team this season and any hopes he had of winning a championship seem to be quickly vanishing. Unless, of course, he is interested in returning home to Minnesota to help the Vikings win their first-ever Super Bowl this year.

Currently, Bisi Johnson is the next best receiver on Minnesota’s roster behind Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Fitzgerald would be an immediate upgrade over Johnson and he would be a great compliment to Diggs and Thielen as the Vikings’ third receiver.

Could this be the season that the former Minnesota ball boy finally suits up for the Vikings?
