When they travel to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday, who are a few Minnesota Vikings players to watch closely in this big divisional game?

The Minnesota Vikings are on a two-game winning streak and should be feeling pretty good about themselves. They now will hop on a plane and fly over to Detroit to take on the division-rival Lions. This is a big game for the Purple as they are currently 0-2 in the NFC North and really can’t afford to drop another divisional game.

The Lions are last in the division with a 2-2-1 record. Both of their losses came down to a play or two and they could just as easily be 5-0. This will be a tough test for the Vikings as the Lions are an aggressive team that will be fired up after the way they lost in Green Bay last Monday night. The Vikings will surely get their best shot and they have to be ready for it.

Minnesota has a lot of players on both sides of the ball who will need to play well to win this game on the road. The defensive line will need to continue to create pressure and keep Matt Stafford rattled. The offensive line will need to play as well as they did against the Eagles, and the offense will continue to need to take shots down the field. That being said, here are five Vikings to watch closely during the game against the Lions.
