For the third week in a row, the Minnesota Vikings came out of their game with a win. What did we learn from the team’s latest victory on Sunday?

Three weeks ago, way too many people were already giving up on the Minnesota Vikings and their chance for success in 2019.

After a 10-point loss on the road to the Chicago Bears, the Vikings’ record fell to 2-2 after their first four games of the year. Since then, Minnesota has put together three-straight victories and all of them have been done in pretty convincing fashion.

The Vikings’ most recent win came on Sunday in an NFC North matchup against the Detroit Lions. The Lions kept it close for most of the afternoon, but Minnesota was eventually able to pull away for the victory and improve their 2019 record to 5-2.

For the first time this season though, the Vikings’ offense had to pick up the slack for the team’s defense, who had an uncharacteristically poor performance in Detroit. Despite the defense’s disappointing outing, it was encouraging to see Minnesota’s offense step up when they needed to and lead the team to a win.

So following their win over the Lions on Sunday, what are some of the biggest takeaways from the Vikings’ latest victory of the season?
