Vikings to start in Week 8:

Kirk Cousins – QB

Kirk Cousins has been playing lights out these last three weeks. It’s been the polar opposite from what we saw the first four games where Vikings fans were calling for his head.

This week he gets a good matchup with the Redskins’ defense who have allowed over 131 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. He should be able to find a way to launch of few more touchdowns on Thursday against the team that drafted him.

Dalvin Cook – RB

Dalvin Cook has been an absolute monster this year. He currently leads the NFL in rushing yards with 725, which puts him on pace for 1,657 yards on the season. Since being healthy, his production has skyrocketed and you can expect more of the same this week.

Vikings fans, as well as fantasy football owners that have Cook, will be excited to hear that Washington’s rush defense is one of the worst in the league. They’ve allowed almost 195 fantasy points to running backs this year and one should expect that number to climb once Cook is done with them.

Stefon Diggs – WR

Stefon Diggs has put up gaudy numbers over the last two weeks. In these two games, he has 14 catches on 19 targets, 309 yards, and three touchdowns. With an injury keeping Adam Thielen out of Thursday’s matchup, Diggs is going to have to step up big.

The Redskins are allowing an average of 40.67 total fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this year. With Minnesota running a lot of two wideout sets, Diggs is going to have a feast this week against Washington’s secondary.
