The Minnesota Vikings will head to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday as they battle with a banged-up Kansas City Chiefs squad in the thick of a playoff race.

This Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings will play in one of their most anticipated games of the year as they head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The sea of red in Kansas City is one of the most intimidating venues in the NFL and with the Chiefs possessing a high-powered offense, it will be a tall task for the Vikings to get the job done.

As they prepare for the Chiefs, however, there are some questions that need to be answered. The biggest one is whether Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be ready to play just over two weeks after dislocating his kneecap on national television. If Mahomes can’t go, the Vikings will go up against Matt Moore, who proved to be sufficient in a loss to the Green Bay Packers last week.

The Vikings will also have some questions of their own as they expect to get Adam Thielen back from a hamstring injury after missing last week’s win over the Washington Redskins.

Minnesota might also have a new look on defense as they welcome back Holton Hill from a pair of four-game suspensions to start the season and they might be shorthanded depending on what Mike Zimmer decides should be the punishment for Jayron Kearse and Mike Hughes after their incident last weekend.

Despite that, this should be a really entertaining game even if Mahomes doesn’t play. As always, we’ll look into our crystal ball at The Viking Age to see what could happen in Kansas City and whether or not Minnesota can come away with a big victory and improve to 7-2.
