The Minnesota Vikings have a big game on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. Who are five Vikings to watch in the contest this Sunday?

The Vikings are coming off what is basically a mini bye and are sitting at 6-2 as they enter the second half of the 2019 season. They have to go on the road and face a Kansas City Chiefs team that has lost three out of their last 4 games.

The Chiefs are in need of a win to set themselves up for a second-half playoff push of their own. It’s unclear at this point whether or not their star quarterback Pat Mahomes will play. Either way, this will be a very tough test for the Minnesota Vikings.

Overall, the Vikings have been okay on the road this season. They lost their first two road contests, but have won their last two, including a divisional game at Detroit. The Chiefs game will be their toughest road test yet.

Arrowhead stadium is a very difficult place to play. The crowd is wild and loud and will surely be an advantage for the Chiefs. Even without Pat Mahomes playing, the Chiefs offense will be tough for the Vikings to slow down. Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins are a formidable receiving duo, and Travis Kelce is one of the best tight ends in the game.

If the Vikings are going to win, they’ll need some key players to step up. Here are 5 players to watch during the Vikings battle against the Chiefs this Sunday.
