The best thing

Fans expect big things from Everson Griffen and Danielle Hunter on a weekly basis. The pass-rushing duo has made a habit of disrupting things in the backfield and laying some hits on opposing quarterbacks.

However, it was the play of Stephen Weatherly and Ifeadi Odenigbo that was truly eye-popping in this game. The duo had the Chiefs all confused with different pass rushers coming from different angles, but it was the two starting defensive ends that drew the most attention.

Weatherly and Odenigbo both made some splash plays in this game. They combined for only three tackles in the game (all solo) but they made those count by getting three hits on the Kansas City quarterback and each getting a sack.

The fact that the Vikings defensive line is so deep that they can get penetration from so many players and positions is remarkable. Minnesota can truly use their depth to their advantage in so many situations, and that should scare opposing offenses.
