Treadwell actually looked… decent?

Since his re-arrival to the Vikings a few weeks ago, Laquon Treadwell hasn’t been very involved in anything the team has done on offense. But with Adam Thielen having to leave Sunday’s game earlier than expected, Minnesota actually turned to Treadwell to help make up for the loss of one of their top receivers.

Surprisingly, Treadwell actually made a few impressive plays against the Chiefs. After the first two quarters of the day, he was the Vikings’ leading receiver with three catches for 58 yards.

Treadwell didn’t end up adding to his totals in the second half on Sunday, but he still showed that he can make a play or two if needed.

Will his performance in Kansas City result in him getting more opportunities with Minnesota’s offense in the near future? If Thielen has to miss more time with his hamstring injury though, the Vikings might end up having to give Treadwell more time on the field anyways.
