Four 2020 NFL Draft prospects for the Vikings to watch in Week 11
By Luke Parrish

Ashtyn Davis – S (California)
vs. Washington State
- When: Saturday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET
- Where: Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, CA
- TV: PAC 12 Network
If you aren’t familiar with Ashtyn Davis, make an effort to do so. The California safety recently accepted his invitation for the Senior Bowl in January and he is a spark to that defense.
Davis is one heck of an athlete over the middle of the field. He is not shy of contact despite playing at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. Davis has spectacular instincts and loves to make plays on the ball.
He adds ability and experience in the return game, which translates to the defense after turnovers. Davis is averaging over 20 yards per interception return after intercepting six passes. He is also a former track runner. His speed and athleticism are enough to make him a mid-round prospect at the latest.
California has a loaded secondary, so Davis is free to roam around the back end of the defense. I firmly believe he can play anywhere in the secondary or even in the box if that’s where a team wants him.
Any time you can find a player that can immediately help your team, you have to make a move. The Vikings could select Davis in the second round and have an exciting player on defense and special teams right away. Give him a watch this weekend.

Prediction
Washington State is going to come out slinging the ball across the yard. I would not be surprised if Davis makes a few big plays to help keep California in the game.
