Looking to recover after a disappointing loss last Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings have a good opportunity to get back on track against the Dallas Cowboys this week.

Last week’s result against the Kansas City Chiefs was pretty tough to swallow for the Minnesota Vikings. It felt like the Vikings had a victory in their grasp numerous times during the matchup, but the win just ended up slipping right through their fingers instead.

Life for Minnesota isn’t about to get any easier though. One week after traveling out to Kansas City, the Vikings are in Dallas on Sunday to take on the Cowboys.

Both Minnesota and Dallas are currently in a similar position at this point in the 2019 season. Both teams are in good shape to qualify for a spot in the NFC playoffs this year, but a loss for either the Vikings or Cowboys on Sunday could make their chance to do anything in the postseason a little tougher.

The odds of Minnesota getting a win this week may not seem very favorable to some. However, there are a few reasons to believe that the Vikings should be able to leave Dallas with another victory added to their 2019 record.
