Now that everyone has caught their breath, what did we learn about the Minnesota Vikings from their win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night?

It was far from a perfect performance by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night, but all that matters is that they walked away with a big win over the Dallas Cowboys.

After the first quarter, it seemed like the Vikings were going to run away with an easy victory as they stormed out to an early 14-0 lead over the Cowboys. However, Dallas was able to come back and Minnesota’s win wasn’t secure until the very last play of the night.

With the victory, the Vikings improved their record to 7-3 and kept themselves in contention for the NFC North title. Minnesota’s win also doesn’t eliminate their chance of earning a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs this season.

There were a number of things that the Vikings did well on Sunday in Dallas. But Minnesota still has plenty to work on if they’re going to make any sort of noise in the postseason this year.

So after their impressive win on the road in Dallas, what are some of the top takeaways from the Vikings’ latest victorious performance?
