Cook delivers another MVP-level performance

What more can be said about the season Dalvin Cook is currently having? Every opponent has gone into their matchup against the Vikings this year with the goal to shut down Cook and the majority of them have failed miserably.

Minnesota’s top running back was at it again on Sunday night, tearing through the Cowboys’ defense and coming up with big-time plays that only a few players in the NFL are capable of making.

Cook carried the ball 26 times for 97 yards and one go-ahead touchdown against Dallas. In addition to his production on the ground, the talented Vikings running back also led the team in receiving on Sunday with seven catches for 86 yards.

With his numbers against the Cowboys, Cook now has now accumulated 1,415 total yards this year and he still has six games left to play. He has a very legitimate shot to become just the second player in Minnesota history to gain at least 2,000 total yards in a single season.

If Cook is able to cross that 2,000-yard mark and the Vikings continue to add more wins to their record, he definitely deserves to be in the league MVP discussion for this year.
