Chris Harris – CB

Improving their depth at cornerback is likely going to be a big priority for the Vikings in 2020. With Xavier Rhodes play continuing to trend downward and both Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes scheduled to be free agents, Minnesota will likely be looking to reshape their group of corners next year.

If the Vikings don’t end up re-signing Alexander, Chris Harris is a free agent they could turn to as his replacement in the slot.

Harris has been in the NFL since he was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Since then he has developed into one of the most talented corners in the league and it has resulted in him earning four invites to the Pro Bowl and one First-Team All-Pro selection.

Even at his size (5-foot-10, 199 pounds), Harris has the skills to line up on the outside and in the slot. But if he were to sign with Minnesota, Mike Zimmer would probably keep him in the slot for the majority of his time on the field.

Harris is making over $12 million this season, but at 30-years-old, it’s hard to imagine he’ll be able to command a similar salary when he hits free agency in 2020.
