Ha Ha Clinton-Dix – S

So far this season, the Vikings have seen Anthony Harris step up and take advantage of his first opportunity to be a full-time starter for their defense. Harris is scheduled to become a free agent in 2020 and it’s possible that he may not be playing in a Minnesota uniform next year.

If this ends up being the case, then Ha Ha Clinton-Dix would be a good option for the Vikings to consider as his replacement.

Clinton-Dix is currently with the Chicago Bears and he’s quietly having an impressive season. In nine games, he’s accumulated 44 total tackles, three pass breakups, two interceptions (one for a score), and one fumble recovery. Opposing quarterbacks also have a rating of just 28.2 when targeting a receiver covered by Clinton-Dix this year.

Since he began his career with the Packers, the 26-year-old safety has plenty of experience when it comes to playing in the NFC North too.

The hope for the Vikings during the upcoming offseason is likely to re-sign Harris. But if Minnesota is unable to do this, Clinton-Dix would be a fine second option.
