The best thing

It’s a bit of a cop-out for this, but that entire second half was absolutely amazing for the Minnesota Vikings considering everything that happened during the first two quarters of play in this game.

Being down twenty points and looking completely inept on both offense and defense, there was really no reason to be excited about watching the second half. Heck, even I was starting to get pretty darned negative on Twitter by expressing my disappointment.

Little did fans know that they had an epic comeback brewing. Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, and the Vikings offense started to pour points on Denver, scoring touchdowns on all four of their drives and finally getting some stops on defense.

But it was the final moments that stand out the most in this game. Minnesota was able to deny the Broncos three times on throws into the end zone, which is fitting considering how they struggled earlier in the game.

It’s still amazing the purple and gold were able to walk away from this game with a win and overcome that horrible first half, but it sure feels great to go into the bye week with positivity and equalling the Packers win total in the NFC North.
