Kirk Cousins says Adam Thielen will return vs. the Seahawks

According to the co-host of his weekly radio show, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback said he will have one of his top targets back when the team returns from their bye.
During the last seven weeks, the Minnesota Vikings have been able to put together a string of six impressive wins. What might even be more impressive about the Vikings’ performance during the last two months though is the fact that they’ve been able to still accomplish a lot without Adam Thielen out on the field.
Thielen injured his hamstring early in Minnesota’s Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions and the talented receiver has missed the majority of the Vikings’ games since then.
After trying to give it a go in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs and only being able to stay on the field for just seven offensive snaps, Minnesota has kept Thielen on the sidelines during their last two games with the hope that his hamstring will be close to 100 percent recovered when the team returns from their bye in Week 13.
Well, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has apparently already spilled the beans on his receiver’s status for the team’s big Week 13 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
According to the co-host of his weekly radio show, Mark Rosen, Cousins said during Monday’s recording session that Thielen, “will be ready to play,” when Minnesota takes on the Seahawks in two weeks.
It’s something that many figured would happen, but the fact that the Vikings quarterback already feels comfortable enough to talk about Thielen’s return likely means that the receiver should be pretty close to full strength when the team returns from their bye.
With hopes of winning the NFC North and capturing a first-round playoff bye, Minnesota getting one of their top offensive weapons back for their final five games of the year is huge.
Cousins has been playing lights out during the last seven weeks, despite Thielen missing a bunch of time. Now that one of his top targets is expected to return, the Vikings quarterback could potentially take his performance to an even higher level.
