What are five moves the Minnesota Vikings made this year that were key in getting them to being 8-3 as they head into their bye week?

After 11 straight games to begin the 2019 season, the Minnesota Vikings are currently 8-3 and finally heading into their bye week. With a ton of players on the roster banged up, including a handful of stars, the break couldn’t come at a better time for the Vikings.

Minnesota is coming off of back-to-back emotional wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. The Vikings could use a week off to reset their minds and refresh their bodies.

Minnesota finds themselves in a great spot as they enter the final five games of their season. Especially since three of their remaining matchups will take place at home and only two have them going out on the road.

Overall, the rest of the Vikings’ schedule is tough, but if they can win at least two more games, that should be enough to secure a playoff berth.

There are many reasons why Minnesota is in the position they currently are. They made some great decisions in free agency on a limited budget during the offseason and they also had a solid draft. They have had some good in-season adjustments that have also helped them get some wins.

With that being said, let’s look at the five most important moves made by the Vikings during the last few months that have led them to being 8-3 and having a great shot at making a deep run in this year’s postseason.
