How did the Minnesota Vikings rookies play during the team’s big Week 11 comeback victory over the Denver Broncos?

Going into their Week 11 matchup with the Denver Broncos, the Minnesota Vikings were viewed as big favorites. After the first half when the Vikings were already down 20-0, one of the biggest upsets of the 2019 NFL season appeared to be underway.

Minnesota was able to claw back into the game and eventually get the go-ahead score midway through the fourth quarter. The matchup went down to the wire, but the Vikings held on, got the win, and they now feel good about themselves heading into the bye with an 8-3 record.

Minnesota’s rookies were key in helping the team fight back and get the improbable victory after a start where everything that could’ve gone wrong seemed to.

Most of the Vikings rookies that stood out on Sunday were on the offensive side of the ball, with Armon Watts being the only rookie to make any sort of impact on defense.

So how did Minnesota’s rookies perform in Week 11 against the Broncos and who took home the highly coveted Vikings Rookie of the Week honor?
