The Minnesota Vikings finally have their bye in Week 12, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any games they should keep their eyes on.

For Minnesota Vikings fans and fans of any team around the NFL, the bye week can be a lonely time. Usually forced to watch games you don’t care about, the focus usually turns to their fantasy team or maybe even a DFS lineup as they wait through a quiet Sunday until their team returns to the field the following week.

However, with the Minnesota Vikings holding their bye in Week 12, there are a lot of things that still need to be determined.

The Vikings are in the thick of the NFC playoff picture and with several teams within that picture facing each other, this week should provide plenty of intrigues and set the stage for the Vikings playoff push within their final five games.

With a primetime game and several others to whet their appetite, Vikings fans should have no problems in deciding which games to pay attention to this week and this piece will tell you what each game means and possibly who to root for to set the Vikings up for success.
