It’s Thanksgiving Day, and the Vikings are thankful to be 8-3. Though there are some players who have hurt that record more than help it. Who are the five biggest turkeys on the Minnesota Vikings this season?

Today we give thanks for all that we have. Delicious aromas of turkey roasting and pies baking fill the air. Football is on early and all day long, and it doesn’t get much better than this.

For the Minnesota Vikings, they are clearly thankful for their 8-3 start. They have had some big wins in ways that past teams haven’t been able to. They’ve won on the road in primetime, they’ve come back from a huge deficit through the play of their quarterback, and they have a running attack that is near the top of the league.

Mike Zimmer and his team have plenty to be thankful for indeed. They also have plenty of spots to worry about. Their secondary hasn’t been playing up to its usual shutdown standards. They have some players who have made noise in the media, and their kicking game is always a question mark.

As much as the Vikings have to be thankful for it is also a time to point out the ones who haven’t been stuffing their seasons with solid play. So who are the five biggest turkeys on Minnesota’s roster so far this season?
