Offensive MVP – Kirk Cousins, quarterback

Once again, Kirk Cousins did his best to keep the Vikings in this game. Even with the defense giving up quite a few points in this game, the offense fired back well in three of the four quarters, and a lot of that had to do with the quarterback play.

Completing 58 percent of his passes isn’t going to endear him to fans. Considering several of those incompletions were thrown away when under pressure, it makes that statistic a little better…but not great.

Kirk threw for 276 yards in this game and had two touchdowns. One was a great red zone toss where only Kyle Rudolph could snag it and the other was a nice long bomb to Laquon Treadwell who snuck behind Seattle’s defense.

It has to make fans wonder if this game would have a different outcome if Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook had been on the field for the entirety of this contest. Even without those great weapons, Cousins showed he can still get some work done.
