Minnesota Vikings MVPs: Week 13 vs. Seattle Seahawks
By Adam Carlson
Defensive MVP – Anthony Harris, safety
Anthony Harris continues to prove the Minnesota Vikings made the right decision in making him their starting safety after moving on from Andrew Sendejo. His excellent play all season long continued in Week 13, as he made some great plays.
Harris did a great job bringing down ball carriers, notching seven tackles in the game with two being solo. He also defended one pass in the game, but none of those things will compare to the highlight of the night.
As stated earlier, Armon Watts made a nice play to deflect a pass, but it was what happened after which will stick with a lot of fans forever. The pass got swatted around twice, much like in a beach volleyball game, before Harris got his hands on it.
With the ball in his hands, Harris made it through a narrow path before reaching a clear path to the end zone. A few high steps later and the Vikings safety was in the end zone for a score and gave Minnesota a 14-7 lead.
