3 things the Vikings need to improve heading into Week 14
By Nik Edlund
After reviewing the film from Monday night, the Minnesota Vikings will find there are three clear things they need to improve before Week 14.
The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a tough loss in Seattle to the Seahawks. In a matchup of two playoff-caliber teams, the Vikings found themselves on top of the Seahawks by seven points at the half.
However, Minnesota then ended up being down by three scores after a disastrous third quarter. After Kirk Cousins led the Vikings to getting within four points of Seattle, Minnesota had the ball in their possession with a chance to drive down and take the lead late in the game. But they just couldn’t pull it off in the end.
It was a moral victory for the Vikings but there were plenty of reasons why they lost their matchup with the Seahawks.
Minnesota now has four games left in the regular season and three of them will be at home. The Vikings know they have to play better, especially on the defensive side of the football. They have the hapless Detroit Lions at home this Sunday in a Week 14 game they need to, and should, win.
As they prepare for their next matchup against the Lions, what are three things Minnesota needs to improve?
