Vikings will stay undefeated at home
If there’s anything to take out of the Minnesota Vikings performance on Monday night, it was that they were more than capable of beating a good team in a hostile environment. The Vikings had a great chance to win in Seattle, but because of several little things they weren’t able to get the job done.
As mentioned, the Vikings are a completely different team at home and that’s a good thing considering the gap isn’t that far despite the disparity in records. With a 5-0 mark at U.S. Bank Stadium, the Vikings need to show that they’re the better team early and make doubt creep into the heads of the Lions.
With a rushing attack that is primed to explode and a red-hot Kirk Cousins that hasn’t thrown an interception that wasn’t off Stefon Diggs’ hands since Week 2, the Vikings should have more than enough to come away with this game. As an added bonus, the Vikings won’t have to face Matthew Stafford, but the defense should be up to the task of containing Golladay and Jones.
A win will go a long way to getting the Minnesota Vikings off on the right foot and that’s exactly what they should get on Sunday.
Prediction: Vikings 27, Lions 14
