With the season nearing the end for the Minnesota Vikings, we should look ahead and learn about some of the prospects coming into the 2020 NFL Draft.

This 2020 NFL Draft class has been generally discussed as one of the best classes in a long time. With so many talented players available, this class has the potential to make an impact on a number of NFL teams.

With so many holes to fill on a lot of rosters throughout the league, young prospects are going to have their chance at making a name for themselves early on in their careers. This will be a fun class to watch this offseason.

As for the Minnesota Vikings, there are a few different positions they’re going to be looking at over the next few months.

They could potentially be looking at a quarterback to replace Kirk Cousins once his deal is up. A third wide receiver probably wouldn’t be the worst idea considering we’ve seen what can happen when Minnesota loses one of their top receivers due to injury. The offensive line always seems to need to be addressed during each draft.

Mike Zimmer’s defense is starting to look mortal this year. The defensive line, especially on the interior, is consistently putting out lackluster performances. The linebacker room is lacking depth. The secondary has been the worst it’s been in a very long time. Xavier Rhodes isn’t getting any younger and he’s shown that the majority of this year.

For the most part, though this team has a great core that just needs some extra pieces. The Vikings seem to be so close to the promised land.

With all of these holes to fill come April, let’s take a look at five prospects you should get to know as they might be on Minnesota’s roster to start next year.
