Which current Ohio State Buckeyes players should the Minnesota Vikings be watching during this year’s College Football Playoff?

The field is now set for the 2020 College Football Playoff. With a few weeks before the top teams in the country square off for the National Championship, it is time to preview the rosters.

Throughout the season, I named a handful of college prospects for the Minnesota Vikings to watch each weekend for the 2020 NFL Draft. Now, while we wait for the CFP to begin, I will provide you with the players the Vikings should be watching when the playoff games kick off in January.

The draft is just over four months away. After the upcoming bowl games wrap up, college all-star games and NFL showcases will take place and it will officially be draft season.

Minnesota will surely be engaged in all of the pre-draft festivities for 2020. They need to fill holes across the roster and just get younger in general. The Vikings’ Super Bowl window may be drawing to a close and a great draft class is a perfect way to expand it.

The teams in this season’s College Football Playoff are made up of a ton of pro talent just waiting for their chance. This talent will be on full display in just a few short weeks.

To kick things off, we will look at the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes were arguably the most dominant team in college football this season. Led by head coach Ryan Day, Ohio State decimated opponents on both sides of the ball.

The Buckeyes finished undefeated this season which resulting in a Big Ten title and landed them as the No. 2 seed in this year’s final playoff rankings. LSU, champions of the SEC this season, leapfrogged Ohio State in the rankings after a huge win over Georgia. The Buckeyes will be out to prove the committee wrong.

Before Ohio State takes on Clemson in the playoff semifinals, let’s get to know the roster. More specifically, the Buckeyes’ draft prospects who should be on Minnesota’s radar for 2020.
