Indianapolis Colts (6-7) at New Orleans Saints (10-3)

Time: 7:15 p.m. CT, Monday
Line: Saints by 9 points
Playoff Position: Saints – 3rd, Colts – 10th (AFC)

Ever since Drew Brees and Sean Payton have shown up in New Orleans, the Superdome has been a tough place to play for opposing teams (ask the 2009 Vikings). But as far as this year goes, opponents haven’t been intimidated by the blood-thirsty, referee-loathing crowd in the Bayou and the past couple of weeks have seen the Saints slip up on their home turf.

While last week’s loss to the 49ers is understandable, the Saints other loss at home to the Atlanta Falcons is a head-scratcher which makes other teams in the NFC wonder if New Orleans is beatable on Bourbon Street.

One team hoping for that to be the case is the Colts, who are looking to keep their slim playoff hopes alive in the AFC. After being floored by the sudden retirement of Andrew Luck, the Colts have been able to stay afloat, but they haven’t been able to put themselves into the playoff picture thanks to the downgrade under center in Jacoby Brissett and a slew of injuries.

The Colts are on their last stand and the Vikings certainly hope that the recent downward trend of the Saints at the Superdome can continue to possibly claim either the second or third seed if they can overtake the Packers for the NFC North.
