Thielen looks solid in return

It wasn’t a monumental return from a numbers standpoint for Adam Thielen on Sunday, but the veteran Vikings receiver was able to shake off some of the cobwebs he obtained during the past few weeks as he sat out thanks to a hamstring injury.

Against the Chargers, Thielen finished with three catches for 27 yards. Obviously, nothing to run home about, but it was encouraging to see him participate in a full game for Minnesota for the first time since Week 6.

With Thielen back on the field, the Vikings offense could become very difficult for opposing teams to handle once the playoffs begin.

Opposing secondaries have really only had to focus on stopping Stefon Diggs during the last few weeks. But with Thielen now back, he’ll draw some of the attention away from Diggs and the other pass-catchers in Minnesota’s offense.

Next on Thielen’s slate is a matchup with the Green Bay Packers, a team he’s experienced a bunch of success against during the last few seasons.
