The Minnesota Vikings have had some lesser-known names play at a high level this season. Who are a few that deserve a contract extension in 2020?

At 10-4, the Minnesota Vikings are all but assured a spot in the 2019 NFL Playoffs. The Vikings are coming off a demolishing of the Los Angeles Chargers on the road and now they are getting ready for a big game against the Green Bay Packers that will have a lot to do with who ends up winning the NFC North this season.

Minnesota has had some big-name players stick out this season. Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook have been the stars on offense and on defense, guys like Eric Kendricks, Everson Griffen, and Danielle Hunter have been studs all year long. Cousins and Cook are two who could be in for big contract extensions in the upcoming offseason.

The Vikings have also had some unheralded players stick out this season. Guys who aren’t known league-wide, or maybe don’t start for the team, have contributed plenty this year for Minnesota. Whether it is on special teams or on a rotational basis, these players have been key to the Vikings reaching 10 wins after the first 15 weeks of the season.

Minnesota’s front office is usually quick about signing guys to longer deals when they first start showing signs of being consistent contributors. So who are four unheralded members of the current Vikings roster that the team should look to extend in 2020?
