Future NFL stars come from all over the country. Who are some of the lesser-known 2020 draft prospects to watch for the Minnesota Vikings?

Take a step back and think of all the talent the Minnesota Vikings currently have. Now, think about how many of their leaders come from small schools or were found in the later portions of the NFL Drafts. Perhaps they were not even drafted at all.

For every college football superstar, there are a handful of lesser-known players hoping for a chance.

I am here to help guide you through some of my favorite draft sleepers for the Vikings to target in 2020. Sleepers can come from all over. They can be backups at SEC programs or standouts at Division II powerhouses.

There were a handful of players I wanted to mention previously, but they are no longer sleepers. For instance, Lenoir-Rhyne safety Kyle Dugger has become one of the most popular draft prospects heading into 2020 as he is one of the best Division II prospects from the last decade.

There are also a handful of Division III players who are on NFL radars already for 2020. Fans in Minnesota may be familiar with Saint John’s offensive tackle Ben Bartch. He is considered by many to be a potential gem in the 2020 draft class.

For this list, I want to go over some of my favorites. There are guys who stand out on tape to me, but they are not getting much love across the board.

A lot can happen between now and the draft in April. These prospects can rise and fall as they compete in front of scouts at workouts, all-star games, and the league’s Scouting Combine.

So let’s dive in and go over some of the underrated prospects for the Vikings to watch as they prepare for the 2020 NFL Draft.
