6 reasons why the Vikings will beat the Packers in Week 16

Vikings much different this time around
All the way back in Week 2, Green Bay was able to hold off a late-game comeback attempt by Minnesota and come away with a 21-16 win.
It was a frustrating loss for the Vikings since a case could be made that they were the better team for three of the matchup’s four quarters. However, the 21 points scored by the Packers on their first three offensive drives of the game proved to be too much for Minnesota to overcome in the end.
The Vikings team that was on the field that day in Green Bay is also very different compared to the one that will be suiting up on Monday though.
Minnesota’s offense struggled to find its identity during the first few weeks of the season and right now, they are one of the most productive units in the league. In the 14 weeks since their last meeting with the Packers, the Vikings have been utilizing their tight ends more in their passing attack, the offense has found a great balance between the run and the pass, and Kirk Cousins has been performing at an MVP-caliber level.
Minnesota was very close to defeating Green Bay back in Week 2 when their offense was struggling. Just think what the Vikings can do on Monday night now that they’ve figured out what works best for their guys on the offensive side of the ball.
