Defensive MVP – Danielle Hunter, defensive end

By now, the league is aware of Danielle Hunter. The story of the young pass-rushing specialist has been told during every Minnesota Vikings game this season and he continues to show why everyone needs to be aware of his play.

Hunter was a regular visitor in Green Bay’s backfield this week, regularly forcing Rodgers to move around in the pocket with his great mix of power, speed, and athleticism, showing how special he really is.

Sadly, the great blocking of the Packers offensive line combined with the experience and elusiveness of Aaron Rodgers made all the pressure result in only one sack for Hunter, but he made his presence felt on many plays.

The portion of his game based on run support continues to evolve as well. He wins in one-on-one matchups regularly, opening him up to force the run game to either run away from his side of the field or make him miss…which is tough to do.
