The best thing – Takeaways

One of the biggest questions surrounding the game was how the Minnesota Vikings would handle the offense of the Green Bay Packers. With Aaron Rodgers at the helm and Davante Adams to catch passes combined with a rushing attack of Aaron Jones, they are a threat to put quite a few points on the board.

Last week, the purple and gold had a field day getting turnovers against the Chargers, and the team continued that tradition in Week 16, as they forced four fumbles against Green Bay. Two of those were recovered by the Vikings and the team added an interception of Aaron Rodgers for a total of three takeaways.

Before leaving the game with an injury, Eric Kendricks recovered two fumbles and safety Anthony Harris’ interception helped to keep the Vikings in the game for a long time despite the ineptitude of the offense.

If Minnesota can continue to play solid defense, they will be a team nobody will want to play in the playoffs. They’re heating up at exactly the right time if they want to give the team a great chance to win games.
