As the Minnesota Vikings prepare for their final game of the regular season, what are some of the underrated reasons to help explain how the team made the playoffs this year?

Despite how easy some teams make it look each year, winning at least 10 games in the NFL is not an easy task. This is the win total the Minnesota Vikings have heading into their final matchup of the regular season and it’s the third time in the last five years that the team will end Week 17 with at least 10 victories.

Following their regular season finale against the Chicago Bears inside U.S. Bank Stadium, the Vikings will begin their 2019 playoff journey to see if they can pull off the incredibly difficult task of winning three-straight games on the road to earn a spot in the Super Bowl.

Much of the credit for Minnesota’s success this season will be given to Mike Zimmer, Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Stefon Diggs, and Danielle Hunter. But there are a number of other factors that have played an important part in the Vikings earning a spot in the playoffs this year.
