Offensive Line

John Sullivan, Phil Loadholt, Matt Kalil, Brandon Fusco, Pat Elflein

The offensive line was so bad for the Minnesota Vikings during this decade that the biggest joke among Viking fans has been asking if anyone on the street can play guard. Looking over the pool of lineman who has suited up for Minnesota this decade, the road has been filled with busts and journeymen who had a couple of good years, but the Vikings never could find anyone to stick around.

The closest thing the Vikings had to a fixture on the offensive line were the duo of John Sullivan and Phil Loadholt. Both players started for the Vikings during the early part of the decade and although both bowed out of Minnesota due to injury, they at least were functional pieces in a line that had its share of bad moments.

The other three names on the list were put on here for the sake of longevity. Matt Kalil was a massive bust for the Vikings after being selected third overall in 2012, but also made a Pro Bowl during his rookie season. Brandon Fusco and Pat Elflein also made the list, but it was a matter of sticking in the starting lineup for multiple years through up and down performances.
