The Minnesota Vikings will be shorthanded as they travel to New Orleans to face the Saints, but can they pull off the Wild Card upset?

The Minnesota Vikings have had a great season to this point as their 10-6 record led to a playoff appearance in what has been a loaded NFC. With three teams posting 13 wins, the top of the conference was a log jam and even though the Vikings played an easier schedule squaring off against the NFC East, they still were a team that had their share of moments in 2019.

The Vikings will hope that they have one more big moment up their sleeve as they head into battle as the sixth seed in the NFC playoffs. Their first test will come early as they travel to New Orleans to take on the 13-3 Saints on Sunday afternoon.

Going into the Superdome, the Vikings have little respect nationally as many do not believe this team can get the job done. The NFL even left the Vikings off their hype video and as Cameron Jordan pointed out on the “Rich Eisen Show”, there isn’t much faith that Kirk Cousins can get the job done.

But, the biggest thing is that the Vikings made their way into the dance and now they have the chance to steal the girl (or in this case the Lombardi Trophy). It will not be easy to take down the Saints in the Wild Card round, but this is a game that should have several storylines to make it one of the most intriguing matchups of the weekend.
