Who are five Minnesota Vikings players to watch when they take on the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2019 playoffs?

After finishing the 2019 regular season with a 10-6 record, the Minnesota Vikings will be on the road for every game they are able to remain in the playoffs. Their first stop is in New Orleans on Sunday to take on the 13-3 Saints. The Vikings are definitely underdogs in this game.

The Saints still have an explosive offense led by Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees. They have arguably the best wide receiver in the league in Michael Thomas and weapons like Alvin Kamara, Jared Cook, Latavius Murray, Ted GinnTre’Quan Smith, and Taysom Hill that the Vikings’ defense will have to try to figure out how to stop.

Defensively, the Saints are also very strong. They have an elite pass-rusher in Cameron Jordan, a solid linebacking corps, a shutdown corner in Marcus Lattimore, and a talented duo of safeties in Vonn Bell and Marcus Williams.

Getting a win on Sunday is going to be a very tough task for Minnesota. They will need to put a complete game together and play well on both sides of the ball if they are going to get the upset.

Who are five Vikings players to watch who could make that upset a reality on Sunday in New Orleans?
