NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - JANUARY 05: Taysom Hill #7 of the New Orleans Saints scores a 20-yard receiving touchdown during the fourth quarter as he is defended by Harrison Smith #22 of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Wild Card Playoff game at Mercedes Benz Superdome on January 05, 2020 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The worst thing – King of the Hill

So, the Minnesota Vikings eliminated the threat of Alvin Kamara. They neutralized Drew Brees. They kept Michael Thomas in check. So, that means the Saints offense couldn’t move the ball at all, right?

Well, not exactly. The purple and gold had absolutely no answer for Swiss army knife Taysom Hill, who destroyed the Vikings in early every phase of the game. He passed, he ran, and he caught passes at will, especially in the second half.

Hill ended the game with one pass for 50 yards, four carries for 50 yards, and two catches for 25 yards with one touchdown. That’s 125 yards of offense through a weapon that is mostly known as a gadget player.

It’s true that the Vikings defense can’t be everywhere to cover everyone, but watching Hill have such a highlight day against Minnesota was tough to watch, especially when the Saints were starting to threaten the lead.
