Which players from the Minnesota Vikings performed well enough on offense and defense to be named MVPs from the Wild Card playoff game against the Saints.

Fans of the Minnesota Vikings have now had the chance to get a night’s sleep after watching the purple and gold complete a stunning upset against the heavily favored New Orleans Saints in the Superdome on Sunday. That doesn’t mean the energy has stopped though.

Exciting new defensive techniques and an efficient offense kept the Saints on their heels the entire game. Minnesota continually kept the biggest offensive weapons of the Saints in check and the end result was a 26-20 victory.

Seeing Kirk Cousins and the Vikings walk out of Louisiana with a victory and advance to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs still feels surreal, but the team’s journey puts one game at a time in front of Minnesota.

But, before speculating too much about the upcoming game against the San Francisco 49ers, let’s take a look at some of the best performances by Minnesota Vikings players during the Wild Card round of the playoffs against the Saints!
